作者简介：伯纳德?格特（Bernard Gert，1934— ）为美国达特茅斯学院哲学系理性哲学与道德哲学斯通讲座教授，曾于2004年访华并在北大举办了讲座。主要著作有：The Moral Rules: A New Rational Foundation for Morality (Harper and Row, 1970); Morality: A New Justification of the Moral Rules (Oxford University Press, 1988); Morality: Its Nature and Justification (Oxford University Press, 1998); Common Morality: Deciding What to Do (Oxford University Press, 2004)。译者：毛兴贵（1978— ），西南师范大学哲学系讲师，主要从事实践哲学的教学与研究工作。
